How to keep your account safe?

Protecting your betting account is essential to ensure the security of your funds and personal

Social Media Scams:

• Never reveal your confidential account details with a third party, Facebook, or WhatsApp group.
• Also, be informed that dropping your phone number on group pages on Facebook or WhatsApp exposes your accounts to fraud.
• The clicking of links on Facebook or WhatsApp group that is not authenticated by Football.com could make you a victim of fraudulent activities.

Self-deactivate/reactivate

If you believe that your account has been compromised, you may opt out of self-deactivation followed by self-reactivation. Here are the steps you need to follow:

Self-Deactivate

• The option to Self-Deactivate is available at the bottom of the Login screen or Settings > Safety & Security 
• Enter your number, select Deactivate, and select the reason for deactivation.
• On successful confirmation of your OTP, your account will be logged out from all existing devices and the account will be inaccessible.

Self-Reactivate

• To reactivate, the option is available at the bottom of the Login screen.
• Enter your number and select Reactivate.
• On successful confirmation of your OTP, you will be able to access the account. using the new credentials

Be cautious with emails and links:

Be wary of phishing emails and links that may lead to fake betting sites or attempt to steal your login information. Always double-check the website's URL and use official links to access your account.

Enable two-factor authentication (2FA):

Two-factor authentication as the term suggests is a second-level confirmation in addition to your password to avoid your account being breached. 

To enable 2FA on your account:

• Under Settings > Safety & Security please select Multifactor Authentication.
• Select Email 2FA and validate your email if not done before.
• Select your preference from the available options and click Confirm.
• Based on your selection as and when required you will be promoted to confirm the code sent to you via email.

When Email 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) is enabled, the possibility of unauthorized access is reduced subjective on the preferences selected by you. Keep your login information secure:
