How to Deposit

The following deposit options are available for Customers from Nigeria.

1) Bank Card

2) Bank Transfer

 

1. Bank Card (Card)

Step 1: Enter your ATM Card number, Expiry date, CVV (CVV is the three-digit code behind your card) and the amount you wish to deposit into your account in the given text fields. Then, click on the "Deposit" button.

Step 2: Enter your PIN, Bank Token or OTP which might be sent to your mobile phone (depends on the Verification method used) and complete the transaction. On your first deposit, you must confirm your account information to receive your deposit.

Step 3: You have successfully funded your Football.com account! Click the button or link below the page which describes the transaction as being successful and you will be redirected to another page.

 

2. Bank Transfer:

Step 1: Log in to your Football.com account and go to "My Account" (For wap and app: Click your balance on the top right corner or Click the "Me" tab on the bottom of your screen to the right.) 

Step 2: Click the "Deposit" button, then scroll through the deposit options and select "Bank Transfer"

Step 3: Enter your preferred Amount (This must be the same at the point of transfer) and Click or Tap "Top Up Now"

Step 4: You will now be given a Temporary bank account that expires in 30 minutes

Step 5: Copy the account number and transfer money to the account via your online banking or USSD. 

Step 6: Click on "I’ve sent the money" from the bank transfer page on your Football.com account once you make the transfer.) 

You have now successfully sent money to your Football.com account.

Step 7: Check your transaction history in Football.com. Bank transfers generally are credited instantly and should be credited in less than 10 mins in the case of a slight delay. If the deposit doesn’t credit within 24 hours, please contact your bank.

Regarding Bank Accounts, customers have the flexibility to make deposits from any working bank account in Nigeria, depending on the method of deposit. 

What are the limits for Deposits and how much does the Charge Fee cost?

  1. Minimum per transaction is NGN 100.00.
  2. Maximum per transaction is NGN 9,999,999.00.
  3. All Deposits are free of charges.

How long does it take for the transaction to be processed and for the deposited sum to arrive into an account?

Deposits are usually processed immediately. However, in some instances, it may take up to 24 hours depending upon the network and other 3rd party providers to get the final status of the transactions.

If the deposit amount still does not reflect in your Football.com wallet within 24 hours, please contact our Customer Care team immediately.
